What is our film about?
In a long-awaited reunion, three sisters come together in their childhood home after a year apart, awakening a wave of nostalgia and memories that strengthen the unbreakable bond between them.
This film celebrates the strength, resilience, and bond of sisterhood. Through our project, we aspire to explore the intricacies of female relationships, the unwavering support they offer, and the transformative impact they can have on each individual.
The short visually explores this by using their childhood home as an emotional map for the various aspects that come with these relationships. The story unfolds in one day, when two older sisters visit their younger sister who still lives at home.
This film was produced as the final graduation project for a Master’s Degree at Met Film School.

Cinematographer’s Intent
My vision for this short film is to bring the story to life through the artful use of natural conversations, drawing inspiration from the storytelling style of Eric Rohmer. Through the deliberate use of lighting, camera movement, and visual composition, I aim to emphasize the nuances and subtle expressions that lie within the dialogue, immersing the audience in the lives of the characters.

Furthermore, I intend to utilise image systems to enrich the narrative with layers of meaning. By employing recurring images, thoughtfully composed shots, and symbolic colours, I will subtly introduce themes, symbolise character growth, and create associated meanings that deepen the audience’s emotional engagement with the story.

Helena Harrisson
Since graduating from Mountview in 2020, I have performed in some wonderful (and wacky!) touring shows, was glammed up as a love island contestant for its 2022 campaign, and have written and performed an original monologue at various scratch nights. As one of four sisters I was delighted to be cast in a short film that explores the different aspects of sisterhood, and the undeniable bond that sisters share.
